BODE Tension Pulley
Catches at upwards travel
Comprehensive tests at BODE have shown that the tension pulley may jump upwards when being released due to
overspeed. Due to this 'jumping' the required activating force for the safety gear was not reached.
Increasing the tension weight can, however, not be regarded as an adequate solution to this problem as this would result in turn in an excessive
downwards pull-through force.
The BODE tension pulley SR/FO comes with a retainer which prevents the pulley from jumping and allowing to keep the tension weight low.
